Who the Lab is for

Advisors building a practice, professionals moving into people leadership and leaders ready to strengthen execution. Northwestern Mutual CUD and GDD work addresses role-specific people development. Commercial-advisor work focuses on ideal clients, prospecting, networking and book development. Cohorts are matched to the work participants actually do.

What participants work on

Leadership identity

Values, role clarity, standards, feedback and delegation appropriate to your responsibilities.

Client development

Intentional prospecting, networking, calendar design and consistent follow-through.

Sustainable performance

Practical routines, personal capacity and accountability for commitments.

The session and the work between

  1. Review commitments and bring a current business or leadership challenge.
  2. Explore a focused topic through coaching, peer discussion and practical examples.
  3. Choose a specific action to practice before the next meeting.
  4. Return with evidence of what you tried, what changed and what needs adjustment.

Fieldwork may include a priority plan, prospecting routine, delegation conversation or written standard. Participants are expected to attend, contribute respectfully and protect confidentiality.

Commitment and enrollment

Performance Lab is an ongoing engagement rather than a drop-in networking event. Cohort availability, schedule, session length, engagement term, investment and support are confirmed in writing before enrollment.

Start with a 30-minute Chat with Chad. Chad will discuss your role, goals and willingness to practice, then determine whether a current cohort is a fit.

Progress measures may include completed commitments, protected client-development activity, delegation and people-development conversations. Rankings, promotions and business results have multiple contributing factors and are not promised outcomes.
